Expert claims that pre -monsoon in Maharashtra is beneficial for kharif season

There is confusion among farmers as heavy rains in Maharashtra these days. There have been reports from many places that the monsoon has been overthrown in the state, but Dr Punjabi Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapit (PKV) of Akola has made it clear that it is not the former rains of Vice-Chancellor Dr Sharad Gadakh.
Dr. Gadakh said the rains were recorded from 70 to 100 mm at this time and it would be beneficial to farmers for the upcoming kharif season. He said the Kharif climate in 2025-26 was favorable for agriculture and that the rain would give positive signals in that direction.
What did the agricultural expert say?
Gadakh informed that the official entry of the monsoon in Vidarbha will be in June 10, which may be one or two days back and forth. In such a situation, farmers should avoid sowing in a hurry. He appealed to the farmers to patiently and planned to sow at the right time.
Dr. Gadakh, quoting the weather department, is estimated to be 5 percent more than normal this year. 96 per cent in June, 105 per cent in July, 107 per cent in August and over 100 per cent in September.
These statistics have been reported to farmers with relief and enthusiasm. It will prove not only early rains, but also the distribution of rain for the next four months will be balanced and filled. Due to current rains, Dr. Gadakh said that the harmful grass that has increased in the fields is already grived, so that the weed can be removed in advance of the harvest. It relieves farmers from the costs of weeding and weeding.

Damage to five acres of papaya in Solapur

Waste due to heavy rains in Jalna
Jalna district received heavy rainfall. Due to these heavy rains, there are rivers and drains in different parts of the district. As the flood water flows on the bridges in the villages, citizens must travel by keeping their lives in the palm. Similarly, due to heavy rains, some farms in Ghansawangi, Ambad and Badnapur talukas of Jalna district have accumulated rainwater. For this reason, the farms have taken the appearance of ponds.
Heavy rains were reported to Bodkha village in Ghansavangi taluk in Jalna district. Due to these heavy rains, the Narola River in Bodkha village was filled. Flood water is flowing on the Bodkha village bridge. For this reason, the introduction between the villages of Ghansavingi and Bodkha was gone.
