According to the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme, the farmers who insured their crops were kept in the field after the cultivation of their crops, and that the crop is currently raining and cyclic rains and hail, then farmers should immediately inform the farms within 72 hours. After informing the toll free number, farmers can file their complaint in written application in written bank (the premium of crop insurance is reduced) or by the District Agriculture Officer or Deputy Agricultural Director’s Office.
Recently, crops have been damaged due to unintended rains and hail in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. In many places the wheat crop is pending and the crop standing on the farm is ready. Similarly, the same situation for gram and other crops. These crops suffered a lot due to rain and hail. The bundle of several crops has been left in the fields of rain water. There is a risk of decomposition of grains in such bundles.
Damage to crops due to rain
Due to the rain and strong wind, the brown crop is in the fields, which is in danger of its pest. In view of this, the Uttar Pradesh government has immediately ordered the farmers to complain about the damage. Complaining within 72 hours, there is no delay in the trial.

The Uttar Pradesh government said that farmers can call toll free number 14447 under the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme and complain for crop loss. Within 48 hours of the complaint, the Agriculture Department team will arrive there and will be compensated on the basis of its report. The Department of Agriculture of Uttar Pradesh has appealed to farmers to insure crops so that they can be filled in the event of a loss. Farmers can contact the Black or Agriculture Department in the district and come forward to get crop insurance.
What did the Agriculture Department do
Farmers can insure crops such as wheat, rice, chilli, peanuts and pigeons, the Agriculture Department said. At this point, if they cannot get insurance, they should do this in the future so that the government can get compensation for crop loss. The Department of Agriculture and the government said that if the farmers were given timely information about crop loss or complain, there would be no delay in getting compensation.
