There are only a few months left in the Bihar Assembly elections. During this election year, the Agriculture Department is working to provide information on agriculture and government schemes through a conversation with farmers. In this series, the state’s Vice President Vijay Kumar Sinha visited the Baxar district under the ‘Kisan Kalyan Samwad’ program. On this occasion, he said that such programs would benefit more farmers by successfully implementing innovations, participating in youth and successfully implementing schemes. This conversation program proves to be a landmark to strengthen the agricultural sector through the participation of farmers, suggestions and active cooperation.
What is remarkable is that the ‘Kisan Kalyan Samwad’ program was launched from the Agriculture Minister Sinha Sitaramhi district. Under the event, his second event took place on Tuesday in the Baxar district, where he heard the farmers’ problems. Similarly, the event was honored by the farmers in various fields under the auspices of “Krishak Yua Kalyan Samman”. The central government stands with farmers
Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government is standing with farmers in every situation, whether it is a diesel grant or compensation for crop loss. The Bihar government is constantly working for funds on agricultural tools, weather -friendly agriculture, seed distribution, training and rural agricultural markets. “The farmer has no caste. Farmers, Secretary, Agriculture Department and Sanjay Kumar Agarwal said that some farmers in the state are earning lakhs of rupees from one acre of land, but most farmers are still dependent on limited income. He suggested that farmers could increase their income through training in various parts of the farm. For this, he also advised to go to other states and adopt a new technology. He also spoke about promoting Makhana cultivation. He said that now farmers are sharing their success story and information on agriculture on social media. If the government, officials and farmers work with mutual cooperation, agriculture will be beneficial.
