Uttar Pradesh is the country’s leading state in the Bio -Enneree sector. In the Compressed Biogas (CBG) field, UP is the first in the number of plants already established, and the state is also in the forefront of projects under construction projects. At present, 129 CBG projects are being built in Uttar Pradesh, which is about Rs 95,992 crore. It has the largest number of CBG plants under construction in any state in India. In addition, clean fuel is produced by using agricultural waste.

UP becomes an active center of investment in the CBG sector
A total of 25 compressed biogas plants have been set up in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh has the largest CBG plants in the country. 19 percent of CBG plants were established in the state, the largest in the country. The capacity of these plants is 213 tons of day (TD). It was followed by Gujarat (16 per cent) and Maharashtra (9 per cent). Speaking of the numbers, 21 plants in Gujarat, 12 in Maharashtra, 10 in Punjab and 6 in Madhya Pradesh. It has become clear from this data that Uttar Pradesh has become the most active center for investment and development in the CBG region.
Solid preparation for future energy needs
Due to the pure power of the Yogi government, environmental protection and a friendly attitude of the farmer, the tendency of investors has increased rapidly. The government provides facilities such as Land Subsidy, Capital Subsidy, SGST Reimbursement and Single Window Clearance. After completing these 129 plants, biogas -based employment will increase in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh.
