Union Agriculture-Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is leading the ‘Krishi Sankarp Abhiyan’. Preparations for this campaign are now in its final stage. This comprehensive campaign begins on May 29 from Puri, Odisha. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the Ministry of Agriculture and the welfare of the farmers are busy with its preparations with the cooperation of the states. Today, in this episode, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has interacted with agronomists from all over the country at Subrahmanyam Hall on the Pusa campus. Agronomists interact with 1.5 crore farmers
The campaign is being held nationwide from May 29 to June 12, in which teams of scientists go from the village to the village and speak directly to the farmers. The campaign will also be attended by 731 Agricultural Science Centers (KVK) and 113 ICAR companies and state staff and other agriculture departments. The campaign will be held in more than 700 districts. In addition, the innovative farmers of the officers, scientists and departments, etc., are also included, agriculture, garden, livestock, fisheries, etc. The goal of this campaign is to communicate directly with 1.5 crore farmers.
Connected to agricultural scientific conversation program across the country
Agriculture Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi, ICAR Director General, Dr. M.L. Jat, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, a total of 113 institutes of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute as well as 731 Agronomical Sciences and Scientists and conductors of the mid-state agricultural universities and conductors attended a large number of auditoriums today.
Union Agriculture Minister Chauhan said I had not become the Agriculture Minister for the pleasure of power, but my life was dedicated only to serve the farmers, to increase the product, to reduce the cost of production, to ensure food security, to fill food reserves in the country, and to protect future generations of agricultural related benefits. Chauhan said that manure, local conditions, proper research information and good seed balance use will definitely increase the productivity of the farmer.
