At this time, many companies associated with the fruit business have been busy buying crops from farmers in Lichi Gardens in Muzaffarpur. For the first time in this episode, Agri Supply Chain Startup company Superplum sent Muzaffarpur’s Litchy to Dubai through the Sea Route, which would reach the freshness and quality in 15 days, otherwise it would be exported only by air. Recently, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan urged scientists to do research to increase the life of Litchi’s shelf. This startup company maintains the quality of Litchi and exports it to different countries.
The company uses the latest techniques
Increasing Lichi’s shelf life is a big challenge in climate change. The company’s chief manager Basant HANN has been working with Lichi farmers for the past five years in Litchi -producing states like West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Punjab. The company is not only buying Lichini from farmers but also using new techniques to improve quality and reduce waste.
He informed that environmentally friendly solutions have been provided to farmers to reduce the use of pesticides. The company has solved the challenges of 25 years of age by adopting foreign agriculture and harvesting practices that are struggling to maintain quality due to climate change.

Help from a cold and digital supply chain
According to the chief manager, it is difficult to export a long shelf life of Lichi’s low shelf and limited aerial logistics. Now modern cold chains and digital supply chains are possible to provide every corner of the country.
Bihar’s Litchi is now exported to countries like Europe, Dubai and Canada. At the same time, for the first time, Dubai Litchi was sent through Litchi Sea Route, which reaches there with freshness and quality in 15 days. So far, Licin has been exported to Air, but this time the company has used the sea route from Mumbai to Dubai.
Export and expansion plan for Litchy Gardens
Superplam officials say the company provides financial assistance in verifying forms for exports and improving agricultural activities. The last five years of investment has reduced improved quality, greater production and 40% waste. Lichi reaches the latest chemicals or sulfits in South and West India through refrigerated trucks. Each pack has a QR code so that users can find out what form of their fruits.
