Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that under ‘Developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’, I have gone to all states and communicated with farmers. Everyone shared different problems with me according to their area. But the biggest problem I have in the field of horticulture is that the plant available to the farmers is clean, or whether it is free, and farmers are not aware of it. Farmers know that they buy plants many times through various companies and nurseries, which produce good yields, and after transforming into a plant tree, the time -giving time and the tree has many diseases. Therefore, what the biggest need is that farmers are available for disease -free plants, they do not have to face any deception.
Healthy plants provide healthy plants
Shivraj Singh Chauhan said farmers need to ensure healthy plants we will soon launch the ‘Clean Plant’ program. We build 9 ‘clean plants’ across the country with a view to our farmers’ need and efficiency. A large area of Maharashtra Horticulture, so 9 ‘clean plants’ are set up in Maharashtra. The ‘clean plant’ begins for vineyard landscaping from Pune Holy Land. ‘Clean Plant’ for orange begins from Nagpur and ‘Clean Plant’ for pomegranate starts from Solapur. To make these three plants, its price is approximately 300 crores. In addition, the latest nursery will also be built. This nursery is only given to those who work with modern technology.
The Agriculture Minister said that 3 crores for the big nursery and 1.5 crores for the medium -sized nursery. With this initiative, the goal is to provide 8 crore clean plants to our farmers every year. Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that after successfully implementing the ‘Clean Plant’ program, the horticultural region of Maharashtra will compete with the whole world. At this event, the successful experiments of countries such as the Netherlands and Israel were also taken.
