Farmers were unhappy even after the tomato bumper farming, but only threw it on the farms due to lack of proper price

This time the tomato bumper crop was held in Patmada near Jamshedpur. But as there is no buyer, farmers are broken from the fields and are throwing these tomatoes and throwing it on the fields through tractors. So far, about 20 farmers have threw their tomatoes. Only thrown tomatoes are found in the fields. Farmers threw tomatoes in 10 bigs on the farm, which caused at least millions of people. The company that manufactures sauce from tomatoes has also refused to take tomatoes from here.
The area is famous for cultivation of vegetable
The Patmada area adjacent to Jamshedpur is famous for its vegetable cultivation. This time the farmers raised the tomato bumper crop. Initially, he began to make good profits from the market. When many tomatoes began to arrive in the market, the price of tomatoes fell to Rs 2 per kg. Farmers saw that they did not benefit as much as they thought. So they broke tomatoes and started the store in their homes. The reason is that there is not a single cold storage in the area. The market was never recovered and the farmers slowly began to leave the tomatoes on the fields.
Price is getting 2 rupees per kg
Growing tomatoes are Rs 5 and they are getting Rs 2 per kg in the market. For this reason he is losing Rs 3 per kg from the original cost. But these people collected courage and contacted the company that manufactures tomato sauce in Ranchi Jharkhand, saying yes to buy tomatoes, farmers are now very happy to be selling their tomatoes. But when people arrive there with tomatoes, they refused to take tomatoes. The poor farmer brought back tomatoes and threw them into the fields.

The progressive farmer said his suffering
Progressive farmer Yadunath Gorai said, “We are Patmada farmers. This time we have a tomato bumper crop here, but the demand for our tomatoes in the market has begun to decrease. Why demand in the market has begun to decline, but the demand in the market has begun to decline and the market price has begun at Rs 2 per kg. For this reason, we had to sell tomatoes in the market for 3 rupees than our cost. We have begun to suffer a lot.
Catchup company cheated
At this time we talked to the companies that make tomato ketchup. A company assured us that we would buy your tomatoes. We loaded the tomatoes in the tractor and took it to Ranchi but after they went there, they refused to take Patmada’s tomatoes. He did not give the reason, he definitely praised our red tomatoes but did not take it and eventually had to come back. Then we threw the tomato into the fields. Sandhya Rani Singh said that we are working on the farms of Bihari. Tomatoes are very high on the farms and there is no buyer. We have a lot of trouble and don’t get work. Is likely to die of hungry.

The farmer seeks inquiry
Progressive farmer Nakula Hansda said it was difficult to understand why the demand for tomatoes in the market suddenly declined. Tomato demand in Patmada, popularly known for cultivation of tomatoes, is not suddenly reduced. This is the matter of investigating. The government should investigate why the tomatoes are not selling in the market. What is the reason? We have reached a state of hungry. Therefore, we have no other way except throwing tomatoes in the fields.
We grew up tomatoes in the fields in our area. Tomatoes are very good, red tomatoes, but now they do not demand. In such a situation, we have no choice to do with tomatoes. There is no buyer and we are facing a lot of problems. No one is listening, no one see, no MLA, no minister, no guard, we are spending our lives in some way, we are not selling in our tomato markets, we are very upset. (Anoop Sinha Input)
