In a statement, the government said, “The Waqf Amendment passed by Parliament was approved by the President on April 5 2025 and published for general information: Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025.”
After a long debate in the Rajya Sabha, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill passed Friday morning, which had a sharp noise between the ruling party and the opposition. Opposition parties protested
