Saran farmers are engaged in the cultivation of flowers, leaving rice and wheat and raising income by selling wreaths

Flowers are growing rapidly in Chapra district of Bihar. The entire area is popular for the cultivation of traditional crops. But farmers are now leaning towards floral cultivation because they are earning more in a short time. In the Deepwara block of Saran district, farmers began to cultivate a large number of flowers. It has Marigold, Cherry Flowers and Chrysanthemum. Farmers’ earnings have increased from these flowers, so they started cultivating it in more areas.

In the report of ‘Times of India’, the previous flowers were cultivated in the Akulpur block in Digwara. But now its range has spread far away. Only fields between Sidepur and Chaknur are found on either side of the national highway.

Farmers like Ramesh Bhagat, Yogendra Bhagat and Yogendra Singh have said that there is a lot of demand for religious work, along with the decoration of their big ball flowers and that it has given Deepwara a recognition.

Apart from this, there is a demand for flowers in social celebrations like marriage.

Amit said it took the form of a cottage industry in this way, because now women are engaged in making wreaths in many homes, which have been sent to other districts and neighboring states, which are also getting bigger cooperation in the economic growth of this block.

Increased income by making wreaths

On the other hand, local teachers such as Kumar Pankaj and cardiovascular teachers and even local teachers such as heart and Yadav are the best place to take selfies. Although there are no industries in the Saran district, floral cultivation and wreaths have also become a kind of cottage industry in the block, which is also known for the production of “Arta Ka Pat” in the village of Haonan.
