“The drug in the research” is presented as an “innovative treatment” based on the technique of “brain shuttle”, which “allows medicine to cross the devastating barrier, enhancing its effectiveness in the central nervous system.”

According to Ulsedv, the participating patient was accepted last Tuesday at Sao Sebastiao Hospital, where he was running the new experimental medicine while hospitalizing under clinical monitoring, which follows “Exit without any complications.”

The treatment was the expression between the Clinical Studies Center, the nerve service, the today’s hospital, the intensive medicine service, ULS between Duru and Fuja.

“With this teacher, Ulsedv joins the group restricted by Portugal hospitals with the ability to conduct early clinical trials.”

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease, autoimmune, inflammatory and degenerative that affects the central nervous system, especially myelin (sheath surrounds, feeds, protects and isolates the extensions of neurons electrically, allowing the transmission of fast impulses).

The disease often arises between 20 and 40 years and affects women with increased injury. Estimates indicate that around the world there are about 2,500,000 people in Portugal more than 8000.
