The Olive City Council was distinguished by a merit seal, bronze 2025/2026, from the fourth edition of the municipal network that is concerned with informal care providers (Racci), which is promoted by the supportive care provider movement.

The Bairradina municipality project, which deserves discrimination, was the self -assistance group “Take Bin”, which is intended for informal care providers, which was developed in partnership with the continuous Magic Health Cube (UCC).
This group has emerged to continue the project “(in) the form of care”, in the ropes of informal care providers, whose main goal was to provide emotional support to informal care providers, in addition to providing space for exchanging experiences, difficulties and possible solutions.
It should be noted that in 2023 this project received the Merit Racci seal, similar to what had already happened in the previous year with next year, support the elderly in the most vulnerable situations, which were implemented by the municipality in partnership with the center’s regional health department and the IPS several in the province.
Consequently, the “Care of ME” self -assistance group is the third project that the Zaytoun neighborhood promotes in the neighborhood to receive a discrimination from the care of informal care providers.
The fourth edition of the municipal network, which is interested in informal care providers (Racci), was characterized by 65 projects from all over the country, including the Madeira and Azores Islands, for their performance and good practices in supporting informal sponsorships.
This initiative aims to realize, by assigning the digital seal of entitlement, municipalities and diocese in the Portuguese national region, which adopts best practices and support for the benefit of informal sponsorship providers.

In the context of its greatest age, which aims to provide the best conditions for boycotting the province to a positive and healthy way, the City Council of City obtained many differences.
In addition to three times (2022, 2023 and 2025) that were recognized by the Merit seal from Racci, the Oliverins municipality was granted this year with a second stage with social merit, which was attributed by the National Association for Social Avenue. The first was in 2022.
In 2024, her “65 hours in the celebration” initiative was awarded the Municipal Excellence Award, which is awarded by the Social City Program.
At the end of 2023, the Bairradina municipality won the “Long Life Zone” award, which was attributed by the Regional Coordination and Development Center at the Center – CCDR Center and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Keimbra. These entities considered that Oliveira is doing alive as one of the municipalities that “offer the best conditions for safe, healthy and active aging for its citizens.”
It is still in 2023, it was recognized as a “municipal friend of people suffering from dementia” for the Agifis project, which works in the old age area.
In 2021, the beginning of the Portuguese psychologists was the appointment of “pro -aging societies 2020/2021”, to provide “strategic and practical and practical policies, programs and plans (which clarify a strong and effective commitment to promoting healthy and successful aging throughout the life cycle.”
