Quoting the agriculture officer, the newspaper The Tribune is expected to increase the arrival of wheat in the second week of April. Farmers said the crop was yet to be harvested as the humidity in the air was intact. The crop will be ready until the baisakhi. In such a situation, the crop will grow on April 15. At the same time, another farmer said, the standing crop has not yet been completely dried up and the crop is delayed.

Rain has increased difficulties
A farmer from Samala said that the wheat crop is likely to come to Mandis after April 10. The recent rains have delayed the rise because the standing crop is not dried properly. Meanwhile, the Jalandhar bypass has spread the worst-waste in the grain market. There are garbage piles around the market, which is impossible to pass through this part. The roads are declining, causing the grain market to be problematic. The same situation is in the jagran grain.

The target of collecting 124 lakh tonnes of wheat
The wheat is purchased from farmers at Mandis 1864 and the collection centers in Punjab and the government have completed all preparations. This season, 124 lakh tonnes of wheat will be collected in the state. In addition, there are five million tonnes of wheat in the previous season. In such a situation, the Punjab government has 129 lakh tonnes of wheat. Officials have appealed to the farmers to ensure that the wheat is brought for sale. If wheat is not good quality, farmers should be satisfied at less than the guarantee price.
