Simineral encourages Congress on sustainability in mining | The economy
Oh Union of the mineral industries of para (similar) On April 1 and 2, the first Technical Congress on Sustainable MiningWith the theme “Global ESG in Local Practice”. The event takes place at the headquarters of Fiapa in Belem and is supported by the State Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability (SEMAS).
The Global ESG standards are aimed at discussing how to affect its relationship with mining and economic and environmental sustainability, aimed at the Congress’s associates and institutional partners. The program sponsors the organizational support from FiEPA, Whale, Hydro, MRN and Alcohola, as well as the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM).
There will be programming Lectures and discussions Representatives of mining managers, public agencies and sector specialists. Covered elements include standards, challenges of constant mining, financing, customer and shareholder relationships, risk assessment and society’s understanding of this field.

Executive Director of Entity, Emerson RochaIt points out that the Congress will strengthen the relationship with different audiences and highlight the role of mining in Para’s economy.
