The National Beach Cleaning Strategy Aims to eliminate plastic pollution

Persena said that 15,000 tonnes of plastic waste develops in Mexico every day and that 80% of that amount will end on the coast or its coast.
“What we really want to do today is to invite citizens (plastic) to our beaches, to avoid damage to our beach,” he said.
Persena noted that the National Cleaning Strategy was created in conjunction with the 17 coastal states of the Navy and the 17 coastal states of Mexico: 11 of them on the California coast, one of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean coast.
Morales presented specific details about the initiative, explaining this:
- Cleaning in all 17 coastal states.
- The initial focus will be on 63 beaches.
