COP30: The organization of the event creates a special menu for the meeting

The COP30 is preparing a special menu that promises to unite the climate meeting, taste and stability on Amazon. Externally to receive more than 50,000 people, the event’s organization plans to provide special dining experience to participants, with proposals to deal with the weather crisis.
The menu, developed with the participation of residents and producers of the region, focuses on distinctive amazonian ingredients produced by distinctive and less environmental influence. “People from outside, some already don’t know our interests, others, but they will taste the unique things of the Amazon region, especially from the state of Amazon,” said Laisa Reese.
A stable food as part of the weather solution
The choice of the menu is beyond cooking experience, directly solving the key problems to deal with the weather crisis. In Brazil, the greenhouse is tied to the two -thirds of food production model in the greenhouse air emissions. Therefore, the event tries to showcase more stable alternatives.
The planned menu contains beans produced without pesticides, vegetables and organic organic products, agricultural and low carbon systems. This initiative not only reduces environmental impact but promotes financial justice by value local production.
Family farming and local narrative
In Para, family farmers have proved that thousands of people with social and environmental responsibility are possible. The COP30 is moving the field, the formation of local producers and promotes investment in the story.
“They are mainly giving visibility to these actors and these farmers. So they are inherited for Amazon and our people.”
This policy not only provides food to the program but also sets up a stable design that will continue after the meeting, which will benefit the Amazon region in the long run.
