Even in Bihar, the goat’s ‘poor ATM’ government is going to launch a new scheme

Goat is often called ‘poor ATM’ because it is a permanent income for rural and urban poor families. With this in mind, the Bihar government is running several schemes to promote goat cultivation and to organize various programs to connect people in this field. In this series, preparations are underway to implement schemes such as Goat Federation, Center of Excellence and Animal Hot, such as the State Government Animal and Fisheries Department.

Held a state -level workshop for goat breeding

A state -level workshop was organized on the ‘goat livestock management and price favorite’ in the hotel lemon tree in Patna with the aim of maintaining goat breeding and developing a successful business. At this workshop, the Department Secretary and Additional General Secretary Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi has informed the goat breeding and future plans.

Government is going to do this in the goat breeding field

Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi said there was a need to increase institutional capabilities to develop goat cultivation as a business. In this direction, this section is considering the establishment of the Center of Excellence to create the Got Federation and Quality Training, suffix and other developmental activities in the goat rendering. The construction of the GOT semen station will soon be opened with the aim of promoting artificial insemination in goats. To facilitate livestock buying sales, it is also considered to create animal hots.

Got semen gets approved by the station

Renu Devi, the Bihar government’s animal and fisheries resources, said goat cultivation plays an important role in strengthening the rural economy. The state government is promoting self-employment by providing 50-60% funding on the establishment of a goat farm under the Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme. Also, to promote artificial insemination to improve the race of goats, the plan of ‘Got semen station’ has been approved.

For these reasons the farmers are not getting loans from the bank

Additional General Secretary Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi and Agriculture Minister said that farmers have many problems with borrowing from banks and the biggest problem is that civil score is not right. Farmers cannot pay many times after taking credit loans, which have problems in accepting their loan. To solve this problem, the government is developing a software in which the bank has complete information about borrowing.
