56,576 Bihar farmers got KCC loan, agricultural schemes discussed

An important meeting of the District Agricultural Task Force was chaired by Deputy CM Come Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha at the District Collectorate Auditorium. At this meeting, the agriculture department has been reviewing the schemes and the farmers have been instructed to promote the farmers and give the farmers accurate and timely benefits.
KCC loans continue to be for most farmers
The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) has been given a loan to 56,576 farmers in the district so far. The Deputy CM has instructed the relevant authorities to prepare the report as per the financial year and to provide loans to the rest of the farmers.
More availability of manure, less sales
In the fiscal year 2024-25, fertilizer such as Urea, DAP and MOP, but sales declined relatively.
- Urea: 50,000 metric tonnes, availability of 53,930 tonnes
- DAP: 12,500 MT, Availability 14,713 MT Required
- MOP: 5,400 mt required, availability 8,923 MT
Instructions are given to take stringent measures to prevent black marketing. So far, 25 licenses have been canceled in 2024-25 and 12 permits have been discontinued.

Lack of nitrogen in the soil!
A review of soil research showed that there was a shortage of nitrogen in all the blocks of the district. On this, the farmers were ordered to test the soil and educate them for the use of proper fertilizers. This year 15,000 soil health cards were distributed.
Prioritizing the development of fruits and vegetable development
Fruit development plan has been given to promote fruit cultivation such as mangoes, litchi, banana, papaya, coconut and mushrooms. Under the Vegetable Development Scheme, it is said that it promotes broccoli, tomato, tomato, brinjal, watermelon, pumpkin and chilli cultivation, in addition to protective agriculture and micro irrigation schemes.
Training under the ATMA scheme
Officials said 80 per cent of the CMR (paddy collection) has been completed in the district. In addition, under the ATMA scheme, farmers are prioritized on training and preparing them with technical information.
