‘India should focus on China, not Pakistan’, British expert praises Cindur – UK expert’s US risks in South Asia

Dr. Walter Latwick, a senior lecturer of international relations at Kings College, London, has issued a major statement on the strategic priorities of the United States in South Asia. He made it clear that India should divert its attention from Pakistan and focus on a major strategic challenge like China.
He said the long-standing target of the United States was to grow India as an important partner in the Indo-Pacific sector and that the regional conflict weakens the direction. During this time, he praised India’s accurate skills during Operation Sindur.
In a conversation with the Latwick news agency, Ani, “From the era of George W. Bush, every government of the United States is working to make India an important strategic partner in the Indo-Pacific industry.

Big change in the policies of India
He said India’s air strikes after the Pulwama attack shows that India has now adopted an aggressive terrorist policy by coming out of the defensive strategy. He said, “Earlier, Indian governments used to collect evidence for terrorism, but now if a country does not prevent terrorist organizations from blocking terrorist organizations in its region, India can provide a direct military response.”
Why is the stability of India to be necessary for the United States
Latwick said India’s economic growth rate is very interesting, but must grow at a rapid pace to meet all its growth goals. “The long struggle with Pakistan can endanger this growth, which is why the Indo-Pak tension does not increase the tension for the United States.”
Ceylon and independent decision
In recent ceasefire efforts, Latwick said this amount was inspired by the wishes of the two countries, not a foreign referee. He clarified, “India and Pakistan signed an agreement to halt military action and shooting. It was at the discretion of both sides.
In addition, he praised India’s accurate military skills and excellent performance in public conversations during Operation Sindur. “India has carried out a more effective action than Pakistan. Their photos and information is available in public. They strengthen Indian claims.”
