Landless workers get Rs 5000 from the government to buy agricultural equipment and find out how to benefit
The Rajasthan government has given good news to the landless farmers but they want to move forward in agriculture. The state government has taken a large initiative for this landless farm workers. Who is eligible for this scheme
According to an official statement issued by the Rajasthan Agriculture Department, the subsidy has announced that it will increase the efficiency of landless agricultural workers. Workers who do not have farm land in the name are eligible for this scheme. To take advantage of this scheme, the workers’ mobile number and bank account must be linked to Aadhaar. A committee chaired by Sarpanch will be formed for the selection of beneficiaries at the Gram Panchayat level. The committee will be members of the Agricultural Supervisor and Patwari will also be included in the BDO.
How to choose beneficiaries
The goals are set based on the panchayat in each district. The selection of workers for subsidy is done according to the target. For this, only an application from the public base is accepted. This committee prefers landless farm workers and a list is made. In this list, the first female farm workers, SC, ST, BPL and other farm workers are selected.
How to apply
- Beneficiaries should apply in Raj Kisan Sati Mobile App with Aadhaar number.
- Farmers are subsidized to buy equipment from registered companies.
- Purchasing agricultural equipment within 45 days of approval is mandatory.
- If late, there will be physical verification from the Assistant Agriculture Officer and Tugle.
- After this, a subsidy of Rs 5000 will be transferred to the farm workers’ account.
