Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Saturday reviewed the cultivation of farmers in the border districts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir and reviewed the fertilizer and other resources available to them. At the review meeting, Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh gave proper guidelines for the agricultural activities of the farmers of these districts. Both young and farmers are fighting
At the review meeting, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that in the present situation, soldiers are fighting on the border and the Seema farmer is also fighting. Our farmer siblings are ready for soldiers in their fields and soldiers in the country. Most of the farmer brothers are kept a little away from the reasons for safety, where they are planted so that their lives are safe. He said that the farmers of each state in the border region should be from Punjab and Rajasthan, from Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of the provinces, how to keep their cultivation safe and that it is a government responsibility.
Kharif seeds can be done correctly
Union Minister Shivraj Singh has given orders to bosses. Under the present circumstances, farmers in the border districts are unable to do farming today, what kind of seeds will be needed tomorrow, especially for the kharif crop, what is the planting material, and all such requirements should be assessed once. After that we provide all of these things so that the farmers can sow the kharif properly.
Farmer concern, our duty
At the meeting, Union Minister Shivraj Singh said that if the farmers are struggling with the soldiers there, it is our duty to worry about them, so this meeting is called. Most of the Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat are affected by such conditions. Similarly, in the meeting, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and these states have discussed what seeds can be done to farmers in agriculture and agriculture.
Seed farming and availability
The meeting has considered the availability of agriculture and seeds in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. The Agriculture Minister said that the entire land in the border areas, how many farmers were affected, which crops were affected and that the facilities they need would be assessed with the state governments.
There is no conversion error
Union Minister Shivraj Singh said that a diesel supply such as petrochemical -based inputs and urea, DAP and NPK would also be reviewed. However, there is no shortage of them in the country. The availability of buffer stock and the remaining issues raised will also be reviewed. Speaking to the respective ministers and chief ministers, they know what they need from the Department of Agriculture or the Rural Development Department.
Border villages should be identified
The Union Minister has directed officials to identify the villages in the 10–15 km strip of the border and find out how much cultivated land there. The kharif crops are sown in these villages, and its data should be collected for Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, farmers who do not have access to the farms, how to help them, also plan with the state governments. According to the Agriculture Minister, Kharif helps farmers by contacting the farmers for not affecting the seeds.
Discussion with Chief Ministers, General Secretaries
At the meeting, Union Minister Shivraj Singh told the authorities that such farmers who are unable to reach the farms or how many farmers should be able to confirm how many farmers should be planned by remembering them. The entire land, the crops planted in it, the number of farmers and the materials required for the crop, are all reviewed. What kind of assistance should be given to the states on behalf of the Agriculture Department, and there are discussions with general secretaries, secretaries and chief ministers of the state.
