The head of the World Boxing Council, Marisio Suleiman, said the death of George Forewoman was leaving the screen on the day of the heavy age of Heavyweight, leaving a 20 -year break between his world lists but remains a special record.
Forman, who lost his first title before Muhammad Ali, died in a “Bush Fight” in 1974, and then Michael Moore fought against the heavyweight title at the age of 45, at the age of 76.
Suleiman recalls Forman as a person who challenged his expectations to restore his passion for the sport and eventually becomes the largest heavyweight hero.
“This is a very difficult and difficult moment because it represents the end of the golden age in the heavy weight boxing. Muhammad Ali, Joe Fraser, Ken Norton and Sony Leson … and now George Forman joined heaven with them.”
Although he returned to the ring after a decade -long deal, Foreman continued to have a tremendous force and placed his strong tablets in November 1994 to drop the earth in Las Vegas.
Foreman appeared to be a frightening person in the past, with a huge “Killing Machine” trained Sony Leson, playing the role of a strong competitor. Forman’s style has changed so old to become a gentle giant.
But inside the circuit, he has succeeded in despite his age and weight and ended his career in less than two months for his forty -nineteenth birthday, with a huge record of 76 wins and five defeats.
Suleiman said: “He became a very beloved character after he returned (at the age of 38). It didn’t see it as an enormous force, but dear Teddy Bearer fell and returned to the competition, when he won the Heavyweight title, he left the heritage.”
Boxing fans remember him twice, because this big time difference rarely achieved two titles.
But Suleman believes that the professional boxing is an unforgettable sport, and that no one can equal or break the Foreign number in winning two heavyweight titles for two decades.
He said: “The records have to be broken, but some are not broken, and George’s great story is unique.”
