Hindu activist Suhas Shetty murder case – Suhas Shetty murder: 8 accused in Mangalore

Eight people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Hindu leader Suhas Shetty in Mangalore, Karnataka. The arrested persons have been identified as Abdul Safwan (29), Niyas (28), Mohammad Muzammil (32), Kalafi (31), Mohammed Rizwan (28), Adil Mehruf, Ranjith (19) and Nakraj (20). The accused are Bajbes and Chikmagalur, Mangalore. The police are investigating the matter.

Karnataka Home Minister G Barmeshwar said on Saturday that a communalist forces would be permanently created to deal with communal hate incidents. Eight people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Suhas Shetty, city police commissioner Anupam Agarwal said. Two more suspects will soon be arrested. Six accused were directly involved in the murder.

In this, Abdul Safwan has been described as the main accused. In 2023, he tried to kill him. A deadly attack on Safwan was reportedly carried out with Suhas Shetty with his colleagues Prashant and Tanaraj. Safwan was planning to kill Shetty due to the danger of his life and the fear of further attacks. He tried twice before.

Abdul Safwan, who was the main accused of the murder of Suhas Shetty, expressed the conspiracy of the murder, and approached Basil’s brother Adil Mehroof, the first murder of Mangalore. Adil promised to pay Rs 5 lakh to Safwan for murder. After receiving Rs 3 lakh in advance, Safwan prepared a team to carry out the attack.

Police say it is the focus of the financial system and the conspiracy to kill the backdrop of personal enmity. An investigation is underway to monitor all transactions and communications related to the crime. Suhas Shetty was killed by an unknown group on Thursday night in the border of the Bajbe police station in Mangalore. After this, the accused fled into the Swift car. Home Minister G Barmeshwar said that the anti -interior force will be formed, especially the anti -communal task committee, especially for Udubi and southern Kannada districts. He said, “It will be led by Inspector General (IGP). This force will function permanently in the Udupi and southern Kannada districts.” The Home Minister said the previous people would like to come to these districts for peaceful atmosphere, prosperous people and hospitality.

“In the government, we regret that the image of these two districts is deteriorating due to communal forces and their severe and violent actions. When referring to any Naxalite movement in these parts of the state, God said, “The amount and fees of anti -naxal will be reduced.”
