‘People want to fight among Hindu-Muslims’

The terrorist attack in Bahlgal in Jammu and Kashmir has also shocked Bollywood. Director Anil Sharma said that there is a limit to everyone’s tolerance and India has never made an attempt to attack. On the contrary, our films here also provide peace message. There are many similar images in Bollywood that shows in different ways that they can cooperate between the two countries.
Given an example, Anil Sharma Yash Chopra’s Veer Zara, JP. He talked to Dutta’s border and Yuri with his live film Kadar.
The movies teach peace
Anil Sharma said- Everyone has shown their own fight between India and Pakistan. Yashji showed his perspective, introduced it in a different way. When we created ‘Kadar’, our aim is to say ‘love is everything’. During the partition, more than 10 million people died, which is one of the largest tragedies in the world.
‘When people on both sides are the same, what is the need to create two countries? At that time, the roots of most Muslims living in India were associated with Hindus. There was a sense of brotherhood. It was said that the Hindus living in Pakistan would be there and the Muslims living in India would be there. Then what happened, did the Hindus begin the mandate to leave Pakistan, as we showed up in ‘Kadar’? All of this is the result of the power of killing humanity and the game of religion. We tried to show it in the ‘Kadar’ that the path of mankind was huge.
In his conversation with Toy, Anil Sharma added that in films like ‘Yuri’, Bawa is completely different from films like ‘Veer-Zara’. If someone enters our house and kills us, we will kill them, as it happened in Bahlgal a few days ago. There is anger among the public, this is what ‘Yuri’ showed. I also showed this in my film ‘Tehelka’ a long time ago.
‘If you want to improve the relationship, think about humanity’
Speaking of Bahlkham attack, what does it mean to kill the name? Why kill? Do you want to fight between the Hindu-Muslims? All these are their political action, to fulfill their objectives. If we think that we should follow the path of humanity in India and the common people of Pakistan, the relationship can improve. Leaders will continue to do politics. As long as we are alive, we need to spread love and peace.
‘Our movies have always shown the ups and downs of Indo-Pak relationships. Yashji showed the Indo-Pak issue in ‘Veer Zara’. He faced the partition, so his attitude was very deep and in the ‘player Zara’ he represents the most wonderful. The film reminded Dil Seth by ‘the Way of the App Mohaba’.
Anil further says that our movies show the truth completely. We have never showed Pakistan’s common people. Many Pakistani characters in ‘Kadar 1’ and ‘Gadar 2’ are true and sensible. We always try to show public positive. Never show general negative. If you show the negative, the leaders are really wrong. I believe that the common people of every country are good in the heart. The public needs bread to eat.
