The Noida Authority has completed 31.3828 hectares of land to provide residential places to farmers in the village of Noida. Meanwhile, senior officers and police of the Noida Commission attended a large number of police forces. A total of 108.223 hectares of village Bigumbur’s landscape was issued on November 7, 2007 and 17 under Section 4/17 and 6/17 of the Land Acquisition Act. However, on February 18, 2008, the High Court passed the order of Allahabad. After the adjournment, 7.559 hectares were seized on 17 June 2008, and the remaining 100.664 hectares was taken on 15 June 2013. Awards were announced on 12 January 2011 and 13 December 2013.
The High Court, hearing the writ petitions filed by some farmers, passed an order that on September 13, 2019, the compensation should be paid at the time of the implementation. The Noida Commission and some farmers have challenged the order in the Supreme Court, but on 9 May 2022, the Supreme Court upheld the Supreme Court’s decision. Following that, a review petition was canceled on November 2, 2022.
New awards were announced
Again, on May 2023, the Supreme Court made it clear that the High Court order would be useful. In accordance with these orders, the Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition) announced on January 28, 2023, and the Collector was announced on July 19, 2024, for the purpose of the Collector’s land acquisition.
The Noida Commission is now preparing to distribute about 22 percent of the residential seats to farmers on significant land. The Noida Commission has once again made it clear that the adjournment order of the court is currently not in effect on the village of Begampur. The acquisition and holding of the land is valid, and if there is any directive to increase compensation in the future, it will be complied with full commitment.
