Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta held a high -level meeting on the construction of a high meeting and Ayushman Agya temples with the aim of strengthening the health facilities for senior citizens in the capital. The meeting was attended by Health Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, Law Minister Kapil Mishra, Chief Secretary, MCD Commissioner, DDA and other senior officials.
The Chief Minister said that the project will be distributed to the citizens over 70 years under ‘Vandana Yojana’ by the project organized at the Thiagiraj Stadium from April 28. On this card, all the information relating to the health records of senior citizens, regular check information and emergency services will be registered digitally.
Rekha Gupta made it clear that the project was not only a government initiative, but also the gratitude of the community and respect for the elderly. He said that the use of the project would not be a hindrance and that all senior citizens would not be provided with primary health services.
The Chief Minister has instructed all public representatives and officials to prepare a list of citizens over 70 years of age and to ensure arrangements in the identified areas for registration and registration.
A detailed discussion was held at the meeting on the construction of the Ayushman Aqya temples. The Chief Minister ordered the District Magistrates to go to the field and create a list of possible places. MCD and DDA officials are also advised to identify the land. A total of 1139 Ayushman Aqya temples will be built in Delhi, with an average of 15 centers in each assembly constituency. In these centers, first aid, health consultation, awareness campaign and prevention medical services will be provided.
So far, 1,69,000 Ayushman cards have been made and its distribution is underway, the Chief Minister said. He urged public representatives to get active cooperation in these distribution process so that any qualified citizen would not lose health facilities.
