Ukraine and the United States want to complete the Mineral Study Agreement until the end of the month
AdvertisementAccording to a documentary by Euronevs, the United States and Ukraine have signed a note on the purpose of finalizing the “formal agreement and renovation investment fund” on mineral research.
Ukraine’s first deputy minister Yulia Swiridenko and US Treasury Secretary Scott Pesent, a document on Thursday night, states that there will be a major negotiations in Washington between April 21 and 26.
At the time, the two parties are expected to reach a common agreement to sign the agreement.
“Ukrainian Prime Minister Shimihall will come to Washington DC on April 21, 2025, without prejudice for any other political or legal procedures that is necessary to end the agreement, and will meet with US Treasury Secretary Besent, and give high levels of support to complete technical debates based on the rules of establishing reconstruction funds.”
“The negotiations are expected to report on progress by April 26 and 2025. With the intention of completing discussions on this date and signing soon.”
The agreement also describes the potential conflicts that can be created with the EU, and the US will not interfere in this case.
The document says, “The US respects Ukraine’s aim of avoiding conflict in writing a contract with Ukraine under the European Union or writing contracts with international financial institutions and other official credit providers.”
Tensions between the US and Ukraine
The relations between Ukraine and the United States have been active since US President Donald Trump started talks with Russian authorities to end the war, and set aside Ukrainian President Volodimir Jelenski.
