Estarreja / Preschool: Receives more than 200 support families on Easter

210 pre -school children attend animation and family support (AAAF), during Easter holidays. This is another response from the Estagera City Council to the needs of families during the interruption of schools.

During this period, AAAF operates throughout the day from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm in Padre Donaciano schools (includes Heads School), Viscount De Salreu, Professor Dr. Egas Moniz and Bardilhó. The program is implemented on different dates in the four schools where they are dynamic, and it includes activities such as: creative dance, musical expression, cinema, yoga children, visiting exhibition, and traditional games, among other things.

AAAF is dedicated to children who attend pre -school education institutions from the public network of Estarreja municipality. They are frequent optional and aim to meet the needs of guardians on education, depending on their professional obligations or other commitments stated in the past.

In academic interruptions and periods that are not considered in the school calendar, the service is available exclusively for children to attend the service regularly.

AAAF opens from Monday to Friday, with the exception of endurance in holidays and point, from September 1, 2024 to August 15, 2025. In the school period, there are the following times: Reception (7H30-9H00), lunch (time specified by educational institutions) and extension time (15h15-18h30). In interruptions and academic periods that are not thinking about the school calendar, it works from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Payment value per month and fixed for 11 months to September to July (August)-and it is calculated on the basis of individual income levels, indexing to the minimum monthly income (RMM), which leads the following values ​​according to social levels: 1-25 €; 2 € 40; 3 euros 55 and from the fourth level: 70 euros.

Last year, 159 children participated. This year, there is a climb in the number of subscribers, which gives the response program to 210 children during Easter holidays.
