The interesting data of the study is that four of the ten Brazilians (43%) have never bought the Easter egg. At the same time, 37% said they were always product and another 19% sometimes.

The high cost is the main reason for not buying eggs or other types of chocolates for 36% of respondents. The value of the product is the most relevant data (43%of the age of 18 to 24 years).

Southeast (40%), 35 to 40 years of age (44%), five minimum wages (49%) and children under 18 years of age (50%) are more likely to eat chocolate eggs every year.

Shopping peak will be up to 20th

According to the survey, 18% of 52% of people who want to buy Easter eggs this year have gone to trade. Those who still go to the shopping until Easter Sunday (April 20) are 34%.

The curiosity of the study is that 21% of family income up to minimum wage has already bought their products. And 45% of those with the highest income (over five minimum wages) have not yet received eggs or chocolates for Easter.

In addition, 45% of those who have stopped buying eggs this year, almost half (21%) are expected to get other chocolate, and 27% of people will not plan any type of acquisition.

The survey contacted two thousand people across the country between March 27 and 31, 2025. The margin of the error is two percent points, the confidence interval is 95%.
